Hi!! I'm jjgren, and here's my story...I have been married to the same guy fer (gulp!) 17 1/2 years. I have NEVER been "slim" in this relationship, and 3 kids later...YUCK!!
I guess the final blow was last night, we went to the casino, had a few drinks, got "friendly", came home, he got on the 'puter, and I sat in our room TRYING to look semi-sexy....(he was looking at porn...). I guess he let me know without words just how he felt about me...eh?
Well, I've had luck with the whole no-carb thing in the past, so I guess I'm gonna try it again. I could really use all the help and support I can get... !!

Hi and welcome. First get healthy for yourself, others getting the benefit of a healthier you is just a bonus. Sorry about your experience.
When I came here I had just read YOU on a diet by Dr. Oz and Roizen which I loved. Then I read Glory's long weight loss story under goals, check it out.

After reading that I read Dr. Pratt's two books, Superfoods Rx, Superfoods
Healthstyle. I have learned so much in the past month and I used to think I new everything about weight loss but just didn't try. Boy was I wrong.
