I have been entering my menues on fitday, and realized I'm eating around 1800 calories per day. I'm not sure if I've figured the lites quite right though. I just called them 'soy based high protein bar' and that comes to about 325 calories per bar.
Anyway, I was just curious to see if anyone else knew what their average daily intake was, and which plan you are on. So, my stats are...
1800 cal/day and I'm on red with lites.
It seems a little high to me, but I have no basis for comparison.
I too use fitday, but I have it installed on my computer. LOVE the program, I am eating 1450-1500 calories per day. I am following Dr. Oz's You on a Diet, but I am looking at it as a lifestyle change rather than a diet.
doh! Thanks Aggie, I should have thought to check the box. It must have been my inner laziness that made me not think of it. Okay, so that will bring me down by about 300 calories per day to about 1500. That sounds better!
Aggie is right Angie - the lites range from 80 cals (shakes) to 200 for the bars. That would shave off another 300 or so calories from your day, which would bring you down to a number that seems about right.
when I joined QuickGym, they did an analysis of my BMI and all that jazz..
The printout stated that due to my weight and size, I should be taking in about 1800 a day for weightloss... It also nailed my goal weight with LAWL, so I was pretty comfortable with that assessment.
The workouts are going pretty well, but it still feels weird that I'm getting a full workout in just 10 minutes...
It's called "QuickGym".. It uses these "ROM" machines that look like a cross between a rowing machine, stairmaster and a lightcycle from the movie "Tron"..
I don't know how many other stores they have in other places.. The machine itself costs something like $14,000... I was very skeptical at first, but I figured I'd give it a try and I gotta tell you, the workout gets my heart pumping.. It's not for the faint of heart or those with a heart condition period!
