Default Anyone want to start Wave 1 w/in the next few days?

I did this diet over the summer. I took off ten pounds, and kept them off until the holidays. I've gained twelve, and I need to take them off, along w/another 20+... but I'm willing to do this one step at a time.

Anyway, I'm looking for support from others who are willing to try Wave 1 again, and graduate to Wave 2.

If anyone is interested, please post... we can hopefully do it together.

Hey... I was planning on starting Wave 1 on Monday, so I'd love to support each other in the process. I'm also looking to lose about 25 lbs. to get back to my normal weight (I gained a whopping 20 in 3 short summer months).

So yeah,, let's do it together. When are you getting started on wave 1?

Thumbs up

It's going well! There have been a few moments where I have craved the bad stuff. But, I haven't given in! I'm down 7.5 pounds so far. I've got two more days left. How is it going for you?

OK, just got the book...I'm going to start on Tuesday. (I have tomorrow off, alone, so I have plenty of time to read it.)

Anyone want to join with me?

It's never to late to join! Go ahead and post your meals under this weeks food thread. It really helps to write it down at the end of every day. The more people here, the better! Welcome!

Thanks, luvthelighthouse! Question for those familiar with this plan: Is this something that folks like me who have a lot of weight to lose can do? I have not seen very many people with 100 lbs to lose comment on this diet so I wondered if this is more for those closer to their goal weight or what. Thanks much!

Ritzy,

Welcome to the forum. Sonoma isn't just a weight loss plan, but a plan for a healthier YOU. Anyone, regardless of size can lose on this plan, or they can incorporate the eating style and maintain on this plan. Once I get to goal, I have no intention of going back to eating the foods I used to because aside from the loss, the health benefits are amazing.. lower BP, better Chol numbers, lower blood sugar, lower resting heart rate.. etc. Of course exercise plays a big part in this and should be part of any healthy weight loss or life eating plan!

Default Newby here

I have not even bought the book yet. Although I am very interested in making eating Meditteranean meals a way of life in addition to wanting to take off 15 pounds that I have not accomplished in the last couple of years. I had taken off about 8 and put it right back on again over Christmas. So, I am determined again and would like to learn more about the Sonoma diet. I could possibly get to the book store tomorrow. This supportive site aught to be helpful. I'm happy to have found you all.
