Hi everyone!
I'm Ellie, from NYC. I made a New Year's Resolution and so far have managed to stick to it.

I've lost 10 pounds so far and it's been due basically to about 80% change of eating habits and 20% exercise. Low-calorie pretzels instead of Pringles, a lot of Lean Cuisines, fruit, the 100-calorie snack packs instead of the actual bag of Chips Ahoy, lol. The exercise has been minimal, about 5-10 minutes concentrated effort several times a week, sometimes several times a day...but at least it's more than I was doing a month ago.

I'm actually using my Total Body Trainer now instead of piling clothes on it.

I don't follow any plan or program or schedule, just basically have been trying to make better eating choices and move my booty a little more.

I do like to move to music so I often have the radio on and will, for instance, focus on a particular exercise for the length of the song...longer if I can. It's easier and more of a motivator for me doing it to music than counting, lol. Hopefully, as time goes on, I can keep sustaining it a little bit longer. I'm pretty happy with the 10 lb loss (even though I see it only on the scale and not on me!) this first month because I know I still have the ability to try a little harder, especially with the exercise, so if I can increase that a little more as time goes on and manage to keep the worst offending foods out of my house at the same time, I might actually be able to do this, lol. I don't know if I can make it back down to 140, my lowest adult weight, but I kinda feel each pound lost is itself a small victory.
