Default giving up soda challenge 30 days

Hello my name is Maureen and I'm a soda addict. I知 admitting it and I知 asking for support I know I知 not the only soda addict out there. So I知 setting up a no soda 30 day challenge. The rules are simple no soda. More water. Sparking water is fine but no soda diet or other wise. At the end of the month the participants will receive a certificate form me. I would also recommend a reward system for your self at the end of the month. For me the reward will be a Paul Stanley T- Shirt I致e wanted one for a long time and this is the incentive that I need. Hope you can join me.

I've tried this and sometimes I was able to achieve 30 days. However, eventually I want back to drinking them. I hate diet drinks. I guess best thing is to try to drink soda as a treat, not all the time. Good luck on your challenge. I am going through same struggle.

i am in it with you! i started 2 days ago and honestly it is a struggle right now. if i have a box of diet soda i will just keep drinking them one right after the other. So for the past 2 days its just been water ahhh! hope i can reach the 30 day marker with you. oh and a great benefit your teeth look brighter (if you don't drink tea or coffee as well!) GOOD LUCK gggbdomino

I'm in.

I've done this before but I've slipped up recently and had soda. I actually like not having soda, water tastes better to me now and the acid makes my stomach upset.

Count me in to. I have to start tommorow cause I have already had 2 cans of Pepsi, today. I have been thinking about ( New's Years Res)quiting the pop just havn't done it yet, but maybe this will help. I know I can go about 4 days with out it then I get kinda cranky, but I did stop a couple years ago for a couple weeks and lost like 15lbs. I usually drink a about a 2lt a day, I have already started to drink more water so maybe just maybe I can do this. So starting tommorow which is January 29th I am going to go till Febuary 28th which will be 31 days. I can do it.

i have always drunk soda but its always been diet. So i think the gals drinking regular soda are going to see a much bigger change weight wise. I was watching a Oprah and a women stopped drinking soda and dropped 20 or so pounds! (recent episode) For me its one less thing i need to worry about letting me focus on healthy eating. But whats been great so far for me is 2 things 1) Drinking more water so skin is clearing up and 2) Teeth are getting whiter! Oh baby this is great! Keep up the good work girls!

Sounds good.. might have to try that.

I had a soda both Saturday and Sunday The good news is that I had only 1 each day, much less than I usually drink. I am starting fresh today. The first hour of the day is over and so far so good LOL. Thanks for the support, I know I can do this.

Cotinara girl you are so right about the teeth thing I noticed today that my teeth are getting whiter

Karma good job on cutting back this week end sometimes it takes baby steps to get where we're going.

As for me I have been soda free. I even went to the movies and didn't get my cherry coke nope. the seltzer water thing is working out well.

good luck to all of you.

you can do it yes you can see that soda and kick it in the can
