I'm looking forward to tonight with them in Hawaii.
I was really getting a bit concerned last week when it looked like they were booting 2 off in addition to Cliff being dismissed. I'm glad 4 are going to Hawaii.
Maybe Marcel will "pack his knives and go" this week. I don't care for him but had to side with him last week. Cliff was just out of line with that action.
I love Top Chef. It is always so interesting to me what they come up with to make given the bizarre criteria the challenges usually have. I love to cook, but no way could I come up with a dish on the spot like that.
My favorite is Elia. I think I would like everything she has made.
I love Top Chef, and if I had more professional training, I'd probably be on it. Only thing is, though, that now I'm all health-food oriented, so I'd be like that woman from last season who kept talking about the BMs her food would cause. And who wants that?
I hate Marcel. That being said, the whole pinning him down incident was unacceptable. Of course, that doesn't mean I like Marcel. I just think the producers made the right decision enforcing the rules.
I love it! I didn't see it from the beginning, but have seen the last 4 or 5 episodes. I also would like to see Marcel leave next. I think the final three will be very tough to choose from.
i catch this from time to time on Saturdays and that is when they are showing several at one time. what time does it usually air? Is Marcel the one with the weird hair that kinda shots up into a little peak or something like that?
I love the show, but I seem to just randomly catch it, and every time I do, it's a rerun. When do the NEW episodes run? When are the last few episodes... I do want to know who is going to win, but I just catch these 3 hour straight re runs. I think Sam will prevail!
I'm rooting for Sam. He's not been in the bottom three as much as Elia has, and something about her just...bothers me. I can't say that I'm sad about Cliff having to leave. I really never was impressed with him, and his attitude was a little...lacking, shall we say?
Do you think he has a "short man's complex"? When they all stood up for final judgement, I noticed they were lined up like door steps. Marcel is by far the most vertically challenged one of them. That may be why he wears his hair that way.
1) What on earth was up with Elia and Elan accusing Marcel of cheating at the last minute? They had to have known there was no way to verify at that hour, and they only ended up making themselves look terrible. Elia, I liked you, I wanted you to go out with more dignity than that. In addition, who else has been watching the romance between those two? They moved in together, kissed repeatedly right as she got kicked off (one looking like it was on the lips...) Strange.
2) I so very much wish that Sam had stayed instead of Elan. Personally, I think his choosing NOT to cook anything was by far the more adventurous and risky decision. His food all though has been so much more interesting, and despite the laughing on the couch during cliff's attack, he was the only one left who I had any real respect for, ESPECIALLY in comparison to Elan. So sad.
3) I had this really strange dream the other night, where Elan and Sam moved into our apartment, and then they tried to kiss me and I got angry because it would ruin the roommate dynamic, and then Elan told me that he won top chef, and Sam and I essentially rode off into the sunset. It was kind of a nice dream, and when I woke up I was angry that I'd stopped myself from kissing them, because that would have made it a MUCH better dream, and wouldn't have ruined any roommate dynamics as it wasn't real. Hindsight is 20/20...
