I have 3.6 pounds to go and I'm getting a pedicure! That is my reward. I have never had a pedicure and I HATE feet, but my feet hurt quite a bit from calusses on the bottom and I think it will help. I am booking the appointment today for 2 weeks from now. I KNOW I can lose 3.6 pounds in 2 weeks so that's my motivation. If I don't lose it then I will cancel my appointment.
When I hit my 1/2 way point (13.6 pounds) from now I am going to get a new haircut.
When I hit my goal weight I am getting new clothes, my nose pierced and a couple of new tatoo's I have two tattoos and I want more. I have always wanted my nose pierced too. I was debating a bit on that one because I'm 25 and nose piercings seem so younger personish...but heck, I'm still young so I'm going to go for it!
I used to have my nose pierced. I had to take it out for work, and it was getting aggrivated by going in and out all the time. It was so cute though! I think you should go for it. Plus, you'll have a little bit of time to perfect what you want your tattoo to look like!
I'm going to do a decent sized reward every 20 lbs When I get to my first 20 I'm getting a facial I've never had one but I could really use it.
When I get to my "goal weight," which Im not sure what it is yet, I'm going to get myself a nice, ridiculously expensive dress and go out shaking my booty
When I hit my goal weight I am going to buy some new clothes, get two new tattoos...dunno what to call it..other than my arm..but closer to my wrist..of the virgo 'me' sign...and on the other arm in the same spot my initials. Also going to start a fund to get myself an ipod.
I reward myself every week on sunday also for doing good, going to the gym, and eating right. I have a cookie or two, a diet soda, and it's my off day for exercising.
Also, when I lose my first 20 lbs..I am going to go get a back massage. Love my massages. hehe.
Oh, and babygrant. My mom is 57 and she has her nose pierced. It doesn't matter what age you are. LOL.
I have my lip pierced (middle), right eyebrow, nose, and 14g in my ears. I love my piercings, and right now I think I am going to keep them for a long time. When I do get another job I will take them out for when I go to work..but when I come home..they are going right back in. lol.
My rewards are usually CDs, and I reward myself for a variety of things... not just weight loss. Keeps me happy When I start getting back on track losing-wise I'll set different rewards for myself then... maybe a facial or manicure or something memememe!
My goal weight reward will definitely be clothes-related.
My "Holy cow I finished my Master's" reward in December will be a new tattoo!
when I hit 199 my grandma said she was going to take me clothes shopping. I told her she didn't have to but she says she wants to. I guess she wants to do something for me because she knows I am been trying to work at this for a while.
When I hit my Goal weight, I'm going to get pictures taken, out side with a photographer and then I'm going to get a poster made I saw a picture once where this lady was holding a picture of herself when she was overweight and for some reason I just saw that and was like yeah.. thats what i want to do. Second will probably either redo the tattoo I currently have now because who knows what it'll look like when I lose all that weight If it looks fine then I'll get something else.
I really have no idea what I'm going to do for mini-goals. I'll have to think about that and get back to you.
When I hit 20 lbs lost, I'm going to reward myself by buying some more clothes. The same at 40, 50, etc.
Seriously, every two weeks, if i stay on track, instead of splurging on food, I'm going to buy myself a book or two. I love to read and I finally have some free time to read again.
I set 45-60 day goals, with rewards like a new handbag or tanning or when I hit 190 a tattoo! Yay! I try to keep them not size related because I'm scared I will begin to settle into a higher weight than I want to be.
Ha, I reward myself like crazy, it's so fun to be self-indulgent. I tend to do it every five pounds or so, with things like haircuts, manicures, pedicures, sport therapy, makeup, handbags, jewelry, etc. I have a real shopping-spree personality.
Also, I totally justify buying new music downloads and new books because they keep me entertained at the gym. Can't be bored during all that stair-climbing, can I? (Plus I would feel bad putting my sweaty meathooks all over library books.)
iconoclast...totally understand the shopping spree mentality!
But I reward myself with CLOTHES!!! (and shoes, makeup, hanbags...etc....lol) But mainly I reward myself with going out and letting people see me, like going to a local bar, grocery store, tattoo shop all dolled up so they can see what I have become!!! Haters welcome......lol.....

I do the same thing!!!!
"But... but... i NEED more music, it will make me go to the gym more!"
I was never one to delay gratification.. obviously
