Ahhh.... nuts.
Haha, innuendos asides - I love eating nuts - the taste, the omega-3s, the crunch, all those monounsaturated fats, its subtle buttery-sweetness, everything! but can never exercise that resistance from eating more than I should for a portion. Yes, I can separate into little bags, weigh out each portion, but that hasn't stopped me from double-dipping into the other bags or canisters... sigh.
I wish those 1 oz. airline packets are sold individually ('cause you know if I buy a 12-pack of those, I'll just unconsciously tear and nosh till I have 12 empty bags at the end of the day). Or that the canisters came with a time-lock. Haha---
Actually, I found a good solution is going to a market to buy shelled nuts (enough for only one sitting) when I do feel like it ~ not only do they taste better, cracking the shells makes me take that much longer to eat them anyways (wonder if FitDay has an estimate for nut-cracking! haha), all the better.
