I'm usually a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants kind of girl, but realize that doesn't serve me well while trying to change the way I eat. I recognize the need to have a little more of a plan so I refer it to it throughout the day.
Have any of you used a planner? Anyone know of any good cookbooks? I've got YOU, On a Diet, and have been using some of the recipes in there, but would love to find something bigger. Thanks ladies!

Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you.
The Sonoma Diet Cookebook is a whole foods based cookbook. It would work for you, even if you aren't on the diet plan. Just ignore the Wave recommendations.
I rarely use cookbooks myself. I use allrecipes or recipezaar online and just substitute whole grains, more veggies, good fats in recipes. You'll get the hang of it. I hope someone else comes by with some more recommendations for you, but ever since I found online recipe sites I rarely open the cookbooks anymore.

Now if I could just get the sites to actually COOK the food for me, I'd be estatic!
