Talking Yoga Booty Ballet

Hey everyone! I bought me a double disc dvd of Yoga Booty Ballet and I love it! I bought the Latin Flavor one. It is so much fun! One of the disc's is 40 min. and the other one is 50 min. I've just done the 40 min. one all the way through and I feel like I got a 40 min. work out but it feels like it only took 15 min. lol. Usually I get bored 10 min. into it and quit but I don't w/ these. I haven't done the 2nd disc yet all the way through because I don't have a squishy ball that they use. Has anyone tried any of the other dvd's? I would recomend YBB to everyone! lol

OMG I just got these videos too. I got the "starter" set at Target. It included the beginner, advanced, cardio cabaret and an ab workout. It also included the booty ball (a 6" rubber ball for squeezing). So far i have done the beginnier one a few times and tried the advanced one once. I LOVE IT! It is so much fun and I love it!

It is fun! lol And it makes me want to keep doing it cause I want to look as graceful as they do especially when they go into the yoga part of it lol. I'm going to have to get the starter kit from target and try that one also

I agree the yoga is the hardest! I do feel like i am getting better at it. Some of it is just trusting myself. Trusing that if I bend that way I will not fall over! But I try a little bit more each time. Yesterday I got from up dog to down dog in one motion (without landing and then pushing myself up again!) The ballet is great and so is the strength training. The meditiation makes me laugh sometimes!

Namaste!!

I did yoga booty this weekend with a friend...this is one exercise better to do on your own! We spent the whole time laughing! But doesn't that burn calories too? :-D We started counting how many times they say "make it funky" we got to 11 in a 35 minute video!!

Yay for Yoga Booty Ballet!! I started doing these workouts 2 weeks ago, and now my daughters are doing them with me too. I really enjoy them, but man does my butt hurt the next day!! Must be working though, right?

Oh I think it totally works! I can tell that my stomach has gone down from the ab portion of it. I have that horrbile "roll" lol and it looks like it's gone down in the 2 weeks that I've done it. I haven't got to do it in a couple of days though and I'm sad lol. I'm going to do it tonight so I'll feel better tonight lol.

I just got YBB today! I think I have the starter kit that a few of you have mentioned. I'm planning to watch some of it tonight to see what it's like, and then do the Beginner part a few times this week, and start the whole thing for real on Monday!

I'm excited to! I have wondered about it since I saw an infomercial at work a couple of months ago... and decided not to spend the money on it because a few other members said that TurboJam was better. Though, after I read this thread I felt excited again and went out to Target today and bought the starter set. I watched it and gave it a try and LOVED IT! I don't think they are silly at all- they're good instructors because they make you feel what they do- they make ya love it too. ^-^ Has anyone been sticking with it and seeing or feeling the results?

I've been doing it at least 4 times a week and I'm seeing results. It has really helped with my middle section "roll" even though I've only been doing it for 2 or 3 weeks. And I think it's really going to help tone that way I don't have as much excess skin lol when I'm done. Kate, I think it's a great idea to watch it a couple of times before you start actually doing it. I did and I didn't feel as uncordinated lol when I started doing it.

I am noticing it in small ways...I feel more balanced and my "back end" feels a little tighter.

My back is feeling stronger -- and I have a weak back, let me tell ya! I've gotten better flexibility already too. I ordered the Latin Flair dvd off of Ebay.. it looked like fun!

Which set is better- YBB's normal routines or their live workouts? So far I like the look of the normal routines, very peacefuly- I haven't watched a live one yet. Where is everyone buying their YBB videos? Online in a store?
