Good morning, Beach Babes. We are having another spring day with sunshine about to arrive. The pups and Big Dogs are still having a ball. Those puppies are just adorable and I'll hate to see them go home this afternoon.

Church on the plan this morning - Hershey will be Church dog today. She looks quite elegant in her new fur style. Then I'll poke away at getting the Christmas stuff stashed away. I may get Rob to carry the boxes upstairs for me.

I need to eat more veggies and drink more water! That'll be today's focus.

How's your Sunday shaping up?

Good morning chicks... the teapot is on and I am enjoying my first cup.
I have DH up and sitting in a chair and he slept pretty well last night.
Whats up for today.?

Me- I am going to make cabbage rolls, and muffins ( for my girls lunches they don't really like sandwhichs) and I think I may make some french onion soup.

Be back in a bit need to get DH some breakfast.

Good morning!

Little - Good to hear your DH is out of bed today. Enjoy your tea. French onion soup sounds good!

Me - I took Tylenol PM before going to bed last night at 10 and didn't wake up until 8 this morning. But now I feel like I have a nasty hangover on top of the sore back. My plan for the day is to move slowly and carefully, but get some more work done in the basement.

Good Morning All You Lovely Ladies!

It's Sunday and I can relax today (We go to church Sat. Night so DH can watch his news shows Sun morn) and I really look forward to my Sundays!

This morning I have nine 'encouragement' cards to send to people in our church who are ill or hurting. Then I can spend some time on myself. I want to do a pedicure/manicure and a facial later this morning....spoil myself in other words.

This is day six for me and I feel positive about how I have handled this new way of eating. I have only been 'head hungry' a couple times...real hunger, not really.

I got out of XLG pants and into my LG pants yesterday so that's heading in the right direction clothes wise.

Sis, I hope to see you on here sometime today...if you want, send me an email and let me know a good time to try?

Here's a wonderful quote to carry you to your goals...

"It is not the leap at the start but the steady going on that gets there."
By John Wanamaker

Have a great day!

Hello everyone!! Yes Schatzi...I'm back!! I HAVE to get this weight off. Yesterday was day one...went ok - I didn't drink as much water as I was planning. Today, I slept until 1 (I know, but I was so tired!) I've had some water a multi - vitamin & some mashed beans....tonight will be left over Taco Bake. I'll probably snack on some eggs & cheese later on. I did pick up a jicama, so maybe I'll make that salad.
Well, I'm off to read the paper & then maybe Target - take care chickies!!

Hi everyone

I've been off the boards for a few days because I am too busy. Thank goodness that I am nearly done writing my terms papers. I have managed to stay faithful in going to the gym--my pants are falling off , which is a problem I am happy to have. I need to still lose about 10 more lbs. in order to fit into my 'other' jeans.

Littlechick-cabbage rolls sounds great. I just bought a head of cabbage too...ummm..yum...yummy...

Default Sunday...later in the morning.

Thanks Ruthxxx for putting me in the right place. I put this page on my desktop so I should be able to find it now -right!

Soon - REST!

RNMOM- My DH also travels in his job (PT) I feel half here then and try to fill my time with fun things I enjoy that he's not too excited about.

Jetsetter - Sorry about your back. Take it EASY!

Kiko - I'll join you in the glass of red wine...I told DH to give me less from now on...3oz instead of the 5oz he's been pouring.

Amasan - Naked is good! Less things to gather dust!

Little Chick - glad you can catch a few winks to re-coup. I HATE headaches!
Had migraines until I had a histerectomy...praise God they are gone. Take care.

Sis, Ruthxxx brought me to the right thread...I was lost but now am found! I hope we run into each other soon so we can chat.

Too funny! I didn't close the Saturday thread. So I moved this to the current Chat Thread.
Now I'll have Amazing Grace as an ear worm for the rest of the day!

I just put in a very productive morning. Jake and DS are doing some re-modeling at my brother's all day today, so I've been home alone. I got the laundry done, fresh sheets on the bed, and I made 4 different meals for the week; SB Meatloaf, Taco Bake, Chicken Divan, and Chicken Enchiladinis. I think we'll have the Taco Bake for today's supper, I've been hungry for that, and I'll put the rest in the fridge to make meal prep a breeze the rest of the week. I've even had time to enjoy the Sunday papers with a 2nd cup of coffee!

Kiko ~ Congrats on having a perfect OP day yesterday! If you're like me, it's a real challenge on the weekends. Le'ts encourage each other!

Ruth ~ I beginning to think it's Spring already around here, too. There's even been robin sightings in the area! You sound like you've been in 7th Heaven with taking care of the pups, I'm glad it's working out.

L C ~ You seem to be taking good care of your DH. I hope his recuperation continues to go smoothly for all of you.

Jet ~ How's your back doing today? You need to slow down and just take it easy today! That Tylenol PM does work, but I always feel groggy the next morning, too. Makes you wonder what's worse.

Schatzi ~ Welcome home! How was your Christmas vacation? It has been so mild here that you probably thought you were back in N. C. !

mamajok ~ Congratulation on making it into a smaller size already! I've been thinking it's time for a manicure myself, I was going to do it last night, then I became engrossed in a book.

Soon ~ Taco Bake seems to be pretty popular right now, we're having it today. Let us know how you like the Jicama Salad. I haven't tried it yet. Have fun shopping!

RNMOM ~ I would just love it if Jake's job required him to travel. I love to have the house to myself for a few days! I could eat whatever I felt like for supper whenever I felt like having it and go out shopping or visiting friends without having to check my watch. I've been married to him since I was 17, and we're rarely apart, so it would feel like a real vacation to me. I love him dearly, though.

Well, the "boys" are still gone, so I'm going to go see what else I can get accomplished today. DS will probably end up staying for supper, so I should see about making something they will eat (picky eaters!), and make a dessert, too. I think I'll call Amber to come over and help me bake something!

Happy to say my hangover is gone. I've been dutifully sitting on my rear most of the morning searching for Mr. Right...I'm convinced he doesn't exist. Haven't done any heavy lifting...just laundry. Y'all should be proud, because I really want to be working on my project! Instead, I'm still in my pj's. Made a taco bake for lunch, and my mouth is still on fire. Next time, I'll be nixing the chilies or using about a quarter as many. Holy schmoly!

Hope you're all having a good afternoon. I'm off to get dressed and stuff.

Definitely for Week 1 and has had great ratings. The most popular recipes are stickied. I must get over there more - I need some variety as well as more veggies!
