Default Sick and gained 4 lbs!

I have been sick since last Thursday. I basically have been eating chicken noodle soup and drinking hot chocolate until today. One meal of fried chicken and mashed potatoes and corn. A couple pieces of fudge.

But that is all! How on earth could that have made me gain 4 lbs!? Last Monday I weighed 173, and I worked out and ate well Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thursday. I haven't worked out since Thursday, but I couldn't and still can't. I'm hoping to feel well enough to work out tomorrow.

Grrr... I hope it's water weight or something.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It could be water. If your soup comes from a can it probably has a lot of sodium coupled with the fact that you're not eating or moving, you might just be really bloated. I'm sure after a couple days of moving around and drinking lots of water you should be back to where you were before you got sick. I hope you feel better soon. It sucks to be sick esp this time of year.

hope you're feeling better soon! I agree with the others, salt does a number on me! probably doing the same on you. increase your water intake and all should be well in a day or two.
