Mornin' is right. I guess I'm getting old and can't drink coffee at night anymore! I was all worked up because there's a chance we may be a step closer to buying a home. On top of that, I went to DD and got a large coffee while I was out shopping. Stayed up on the computer til 12:30 reading about house stuff, then laid in bed wide awake for at least another 1/2 hr. "dreaming" about my house! So I feel hungover this AM...and I made my coffee waaaayyy too strong!

Good afternoon chickies! Well, except for cleaning and wrapping to last gifts, I'm ready. I just have to find the gumption from somewhere to clean the house. I hate to clean.

Lauren: I looked up ODD...wow, :hugs: I had no idea you were dealing with this. I hope you are able to find some help. Is this something he will grow out of or will you be dealing with it always? How did you get a diagnosis?

Mama: Hear you on the tired. I just keep telling myself "Only 6 more months until I can night wean!" Then I'll be able to sleep a little.

Karen, I thought I went through all this with you guys?? Sorry, so many people to explain it to, I guess I lost track! As I'm sure you found out, there's not much out there on it, most of it is copy & paste. Supposedly he should grow out of it by the time he's 8. But ODD usually goes hand in hand with other issues, like ADD/ADHD/Bipolar/etc. Dr. said he's too young to diagnose anything else, but he also doesn't seem to show signs of anything else. Since I have been home, I honestly have to wonder if he is also hyperactive. But that could be the lack of structure/laziness on my part to get him outside enough. A child pychologist diagnosed him back in August.
