Mornin' All!

Just finished my first cup! May be headed for a second! Why can't DD deliver? (OK, maybe I don't need that 2nd cup!)

Meeting went OK yesterday. I was hoping for better though. The behaioralist was not there, which annoyed me. If you have a child with ODD coming in for observation, wouldn't you make sure the behavioralist is there, since that the main issue?? It was the speech/language therapist, child pychologist, learning disabilities teacher and social worker. The speech therapist said she probably couldn't "fail" him on speech, because his vocabulary is on target for his age, he just has some articulation issues. They have to have a 33% deficit in one area or 25% in 2 areas. I'm sure they'd be able to fail him at least that in behavior. So they're going to speak with the behavioralist and figure out how he can observe Peter, since there's no "test", like there would be for speech. She said she'd try and get back to me with something this week. So I haven't gotten anywhere really.

Have a great day all!

See it would make sense for the behavioralist to be there.....

ok that's me bein crabby. I got all my coworkers shopped for except 2. I'll be seeing them this weekend so I'll have time to do that. No big deal.

I am frustrated because of work though....there was a raise given to all but 2 of us....me and a specialist. My quality and production are where they want it (possibly a bit higher), but I wasn't good enough for a raise. They don't normally do these this time of year either. I'm certain it was a case of "I'll reward who I want to, or who I think works the hardest." We didn't even know they were going to be giving raises.

I'm going to spend my christmas days off (friday and monday) looking for a new job. This is getting stupid.

Anyway, I'll be better once I can get thru the holiday. Diet? what diet?

Hello everyone. We are just about ready for the holiday here. I have one more grocery store run tomorrow and then it's clean, clean, clean. girlie has been having hysterics if I put her down for longer than two seconds. It makes cleaning so hard.

Lauren: What is ODD? Why wouldn't tey have the whole team there? That doesn't make sense. I hope things get settled for you guys.

Holy: They made that public knowledge? Who got raises, I mean. That seems highly unethical to me. I'm sorry you are being treated so poorly. I wish you luck with the job hunt.

LBH- You're right, we were in Germany. We moved back to the states last year. We are both prior army. His company builds equipment for the military and he has to provide technical support. He is a computer geek.
How old is Peter?

Holyteror- I'm sorry about what you're going through at work.

Karen- I know what you mean. I just can't get any cleaning done. My kids have been very clingy.

I took DD1 and DS2 to the peds office yesterday. DD has bronchitis and an ear infection and DS2 has an ear infection. Now, all 4 kids are on antibiotics. I just hope everyone feels better by Christmas.

I haven't been to the gym in 2 weeks. I [I]need[I] to go otherwise I lose all motivation during the day and tend to eat more than I should. My mom is here visiting and I have been trying to wake up early to go, but, because the kids are sick, I haven't been getting much sleep.

Lauren, I totally agree...that makes no sense! Why have a meeting and not have the whole team there?? So you can waste you time going in and now you just have to go again?? DUH!

Holy, that's nuts. That place so sounds like where I used to work! they were really crappy there! That's why I didn't go back after I had the man!

I've been eating for crap lately...which is why I had a 5 lb gain last week. I had been doing so well, even lost over the Thanksgiving holiday and now it's been all downhill! I so have to get back on track. I need a !
