I know it's probably a stupid time to start myself dieting but I'm really going to having got on the scales and realising that I'm back to being as heavy as i was 2-3 years ago and that I've put on like 3 pounds since being home a week ago cos i'm doing nothing and eating all the time cos i'm bored.
So, whilst i'm not actively dieting right now i am ony going to eat when i'm hungry (no random toast snacks in the middle of the day or me anymore) and i'm going to get my exercise DVD's out now and do some exercise.
I just hope it doesn't go like my other attempts - i give up after like 2 days of exercising.
Are you following any sort of diet or just cutting down?
Sliming mags often give good tips at Christmas time for how to keep the calories low.
I really must make an effort - only my really stretchy trousers fit now. I was late in this morning cos of trying to find a pair of trews. Instad I had to wear a long skirt. I doubt I shall be that good over Chrimbo but in the new year I have promised myself and my friend that I will start exercising.
I have noticed how out of condition I am cos I used to be speedy gonzalez whizzing along the road. Even my Aunt has noticed how slow I am now.
I've lost weight before following rosemary conley. however, then work (i worked 12 hour shifts) got in the way and i couldn't afford to keep missing cos you still ahd to pay so i stopped. then i moved abroad for a year and yeah. put everything on that i'd worked so hard to lose 3 years ago.
i'm at the inlaws for christmas so it's just take what you want so i'll just not eat loads and loads.
for me, it's actually exercsing. though i just did 30 minutes (and rememebred to log it on fit day) and i'm so so so hot and sweaty. eek. i know it's normal but yeah.
Hi Girls! I'm a UK lurker because, well, I'm not in the UK, but I'm not in the US/Canada either. You are the closest to me and my time zone
It's NEVER a stupid time to start! Think about how WE can keep things a bit under control while others who HAVEN'T started are in for a shock after the holidays!
