Smile Weight Loss Heaven on Core Board 37!

Time for a new board! Sorry for the cheesy title, it was the only thing that I could think of.

Cool! We have a new friend. Her name is Sarah. I encouraged her to come hang out with us while we all try to lose weight. Melissa and Angela, she's your age. Someone young to keep us older babes from making your crazy!

You don't make us crazy. We were already that way!
Vickie, thank you for the info on migraines. It at least helps to know that may have been the cause. Although the thought of having migraines is really scary. I don't know how often I can handle experiencing what I did this morning.

I know what you mean about being scared. It helped me alot to know that it was a migraine. My eye specialist said to talk to my internist if I started to get more than one every couple of months. I think mine happened before Christmas and I haven't had another one since. Tell your boss that you need Workers' Comp for a job related condition!

Hi Everyone
Was just getting ready to post. and seen where there was a new board. Now I forget what was going on with everyone.

SEPTEMSGOAL Hope you are feeling better.

VICKIE I am sure you are worried about your test. Seems like people only always want to tell you the bad. Not the good. My Aunt that had it done. Well she is a chicken over everything. Said it wasnt bad. The only thing that really bothered her was the drinking of stuff. Said otherwise it was alright.

Well to eat today. 2 slices diet bread, peanut butter with a little strawberry jam. A small grilled chicken salad, 2 clemetines, 2 banana's, 2 triscuts, and 2 slim fast bars. and a cup of FF cottage cheese.
Had to go to town today. Had to get a blood pressure thing so we could take Hubby's blood pressure at home. The Dr wants him to keep track of his blood pressure at home for a couple of weeks. We had one. But it stopped working. So while in town. Went to the grocery store. And bought apples, bananas, navel oranges, and some more clemetines. Some sweet potato's and celery. So got alot of good snack foods. So hopefully that will keep me on track.
Really dont have any plans for the weekend. Hopefully I can get some house cleaning done. Got several things I want to do. But just getting motivated to do them. But maybe if I can do that. It will keep me busy and I wont think about food.
Well I guess I better get off here. Need to go back to board 36 and reread the threads there. I cant keep up with all of them. So everyone have a great evening.

Coco, it is always hard to keep up when we switch boards. But if we don't then those with dial-up have a hard time getting through the boards. It sounds like you ate pretty well today. Are you doing slim-fast? Just curious. I need to go get lots of fruits and new veggies too. Hopefully I can do that tomorrow.

Vickie, I'm sure my boss would love to award me some worker's comp. She is so compassionate and caring.

Didn't tell you all that there is a new development just outside our county that DH and I are thinking about looking into building in. They have one basement lot left (we really want/need a basement). I'm hoping to drive out and look at it tomorrow. That is exciting.

SEPTEMBERSGOAL No I am not doing slim fast. I just use their bars. They are cheaper then the WW bars. I was wanting something sweet. So I ate one. Then I was feeling a little hungry. So I ate the other. They range between 3 to 4 points. Depends on what I get. I really like the Chocolate chip muffin bar. Very good with a cup of tea or coffee. Just kinda satisfies me. And they have a really good snack bar. That is if you like mint. Its taste something like a peppermint patty.
Good luck looking at your lot tomorrow. That will be exciting.

Oh, Melissa! A house would be so wonderful! Don't forget, excitement can be a bit stressful. Try to enjoy!

Coco, fruits and veggies are our friends!

Gotta go, Jim is home.

Evening, girlies. I'm finally here. What's going on with us all? I had to leave work early (2:30, still 8+ hours though) because I couldn't see anymore. One eye was hazy, my tummy was gurgling and I felt rotten. I came home and laid down for a while, but I wish I hadn't gotten up. We got a letter from the IRS today saying we had claimed Kate on 2004 taxes and she claimed herself for the same year. I called the CPA and left a message asking which would be better? She wasn't a full-time student but was still 18, so we should have been able to claim her. I refigured and we'd owe $600 for last year but I guess they could take it off of this year's taxes. Either that or Kate can do the amended return. I'll have to see what she said.

All kids are at work, Judd's at the gym and I'm not getting out of this chair until he gets home. I'm trying to figure out something easy to cook for dinner.

I'll be back in a while after I read some more posts.

Kathy, bless your heart. We must all have some sort of psychic-spiritual connection. When one of us sick, it spreads! Sorry to hear about the tax issue. I hope that you get it cleared up soon.

No kiddding about the connection, Melissa.

Kathy, I can't believe you're sick. Poor girl. We KNOW you need more sleep. Whenever I don't get enough sleep, I get sick. As far as the taxes go, that stinks! I hope you don't end up paying penalties. I'm worried about this year's taxes. But, I'm not doing them now since I don't have the paperwork and I've got enough worries on my plate at the moment.

Off to watch TV and stay awake as long as I can.

Thanks Coco. We (DH and I) were doing sf for awhile. DH still is. Their bars are very tasty!

Vickie, don't try to keep yourself up too long! Get some rest. You too Kathy. I'm going to get DH to rub my shoulders for awhile. I feel like my headache is coming back a little.

You know today it was in the 50's and now we've got a snow advisory. Nuts!

I'm feeling a little better except my tummy is still grumbling. I ate a piece of bread with butter and am now drinking a big glass of water. Judd at a WW Smart Ones dinner when he got home, which helped. The only other issue for the evening is that I promised Erin that I'd make fried chicken for her tonight. I might call her in a while and see if I can convince her to eat something else. She gets off work at 10:00. And I'm not even going to THINK about the taxes until after talking to the CPA. There's no need to worry about it until I have to.

Judd is going on a bike ride in the morning and leaving at 7:00. I think I'll sleep in until then and go into work a little later than I first planned. I only plan to be there for 4-5 hours.

I hope we all feel better tomorrow.
