I am curious to know how it works. Is it just simply counting calories? I have been following the Biggest Loser diet for a week now and have lost 3 pounds. Now...I have only walked 3 times this week because my Mom was diagnosed with terminal Lung Cancer, so that has taken alot of my time up. I try and stay around 1500 calories a day and eat unprocessed foods. I feel better already, although I do have very strong urges to binge. I work through them by thinking about how my MOm has never taken care of herself and now this...so that puts things back into perspective.
You know what's funny? Normally I over eat when I'm stressed out but since this news of Mom, It really has struck a cord with me and I no longer have the desire to do that to my body anymore! I feel so in-control now. Odd, huh?
I know that I will not join WW because of the exspense but I would like to visit this board if you guys are cool with that.

HI Sandy and welcome!
We are always happy to have new friends join us. Due to Weight Watchers copyright rules, we cannot tell you the in-depth details of the plan. But if you do a little internet surfing there are plenty of sites that are not quite so vigilant of these copyright rules. Also, if you read our menus, posts, and check out the recipes you can probably get the idea anyway!
