I've done AF training for all those years, but took a break a few years ago and worked at
SimuFlite where I did the commercial training. I liked the work but not the management. I certainly learned a lot about the various smaller aircraft -- those little King Airs are NOTHING like a B-2 bomber!!
I've also been in contact with one of the former maintenance instructors to see if we can start up a smaller ground school-type thing. I would do the materials and he would do the instructing. It's basically taking the operating manual for a particular a/c and repackaging it in the form of instruction, testing, remediation, scoring, etc. Nothing that a good PowerPoint programmer couldn't do.
