Default Not quite what I hoped...

but for the first time in a looooooong time, I didn't gain weight over Thanksgiving. Scale at home this morning read 219, and officially at WW I lost .4 pound. But it does put me over the 15 pound mark (15.2 pounds lost), so I'm definitely happy. I feel really crappy (flu symptoms), so I'm going to focus better on the Core stuff and push more water and decaf tea. Hopefully next week will show a bigger loss, but I'll take the small loss over a gain any day!

Hey
Weigh to go! I think a .4# loss following Thanksgiving is fabulous. Good for you.

Here's a strange sickness question: I've been sick as well recently, and I've been taking a shot of Nyquil at night. -- Does Nyquil have calories? As I think about it, there's alcohol added to the Nyquil for its sedative quality... average shot of alcohol has about 100 cal. Eek!!

I've never thought about stuff like this before!

You can get the drugs other than alcohol in pill form - lots of cheap generics available. Feel better.

Maria, I can't quite believe it but it has 93 calories per dose. I didn't figure it out but I bet it's 2 points. Sick AND using points? NOT FAIR!

My vitamin has 40 calories, which I think is totally unfair. Of course, it's the Viactiv chew, but at least it makes me feel like I'm eating candy.

That stinks about the NyQuil though! I guess the trade-off is when you're that sick, you usually aren't hungry anyway.

The Nyquil liquicaps work for me. But I don't know how many calories they have.

When I first started weight watchers I had a problem with constipation, and I love to have something sweet at night. I solved both problems by working Metamucil Apple cinnamon fiber bars into my points total every day. I got the "relief" I needed and killed my sweet tooth for just a few points (adding in the milk with the fiber bars)
