Monday menu for Nov. 7

  • Okay, call me crazy! I'm packing up my lunch for work tomorrow, so might as well post it!!

    B: scrambled egg cooked with Take Control margarine, milk
    S: reg. cream cheese and olives (wacky craving I've been having lately; obviously using pts)
    L: rotisserie chicken, avocado and tomatoes, carrots with dill dip
    S: SF jello with Cool Whip
    D: not sure yet, but I think it will be black beans and brown rice with a salad
  • Breakfast: Oatmeal, banana
    Lunch Tuna in lo carb wrap, lettuce, reg mayo (pts on mayo and wrap)
    Dinner Salmon, salad, baked potato, SF jello
    Snacks 1/2 banana, apple

    Snore I know! What can I tell you - mid shopping cycle!

    Must have less coffee - drank 8 cups before anyone even woke up today!

    Breakfast: oatmeal w/sliced banana & ff french vanilla creamer, decaf w/light cream

    Lunch - hmmm no dinner leftovers? Will pack a can of lentil soup and already made a fruit salad (red grapes, strawberries and fresh pineapple)

    Snack: sf/ff black cherry yogurt mousse, 1 apple

    dinner: marinated salmon, brown rice, steamed cauliflower & broccoli

    and definitely need to down lots of water!

  • I was going to have a Tweak Week but when I realized that all except 6 points of my menu were core, I decided I will just count those towards my 35. This exercise has reminded me why I hated flex (sorry to all those who love it).

    b: oatmeal (2 pts)
    l: lemon piccata smart ones meal (4 pts); carrots, celery, broccoli w/ ff ranch dip; kudos bar (2 pts)
    s: pineapple (1 pt), applesauce (1 pt)
    d: rotissiere chicken, black beans and brown rice (around 13 pts)
    s: sf/ff pudding (2 pts); popcorn (2 pts)

    Counting it all up though shows me that I am eating way too many points, but it is core. I guess I'm eating too much in general??
    Anyway, 6 points count towards my 35 for the day.
