Default Thoroughly Core Menu, Thursday Nov. 3

Time for our daily pep talk!!

Okay, here it is. If we don't take care of ourselves, who will? Unless your last name is Rockefeller or Trump or Hilton or ... well, you get my point ... you probably don't have a personal chef. So that means it's up to YOU (me, too!) to make the right choices, eat the foods our bodies need, and step away from the foods we KNOW aren't going to help us reach that goal!! So here's my plan for the day:

B: maltomeal, milk
S: strawberries and SF/FF cheesecake pudding
L: tuna salad and tomato slices ... or wait! Could I get fancy and make a tuna-stuffed tomato? Hmmmm ....
S: popcorn if I need it
D: black beans and brown rice, a big salad with Kraft Free 1000 Island, and more milk

PLUS ... I'm going to try like heck not to stop for a coke in the morning, and will drink six bottles of water, 16.9 oz. each.

IT CAN BE DONE!!

Kathy,
I love that you're going to try not to get a Coke in the morning! Weigh to go to start your day off right.

I'm aiming for a perfect day:
breakfast: blueberries on oatmeal w/ffmilk
lunch: tuna and vegetarian style baked beans
dinner: chicken cutlet, sweet potato, and green beans w/ffmilk sauce
snacks: popcorn, piece of fruit (I have to get shopping)
2 cups of tea and 1 Diet Coke

Okay, here's my challenge for the day. Absolutely NO Halloween candy will pass these lips, evermore and in perpetuity. (or at least this year) I will tell myself I've had my yearly alottment, and now I'm done.

b: shredded wheat & bran, banana, milk
l: big salad w/cheese & turkey, some fruit, milk
s: popcorn
d: skillet grilled catfish, hash browns, milk
