Have you done it yet? Have you? Have you? Huh? Huh? Are you done yet?

ontarget 06-14-2005 07:48 PM

i haven't gone to curves or done any exercise yet. i may try to treadmill a few minutes. i'm bad. i've been using these feet as an excuse. that's not good.

melissa, we need to get our motors going, don't we?

Katpo 06-14-2005 07:58 PM

I did my flowerbed duties tonight, so that's going to count. I sweated my pants off ... no literally, I did! I was dripping wet when I came in and could barely get my jeans down, but I did and threw them in the wash immediately along with the rest of my clothes. My heart is still pounding a teeny bit, so I'm waiting for a while before I decide on the Gazelle. I might just do the wall pushups, tiptoes, lunges and squats.

septembersgoal 06-14-2005 07:58 PM

OK, I'm going, I'm going!!! Kathy, you sneak-attacked me in the menu thread! I'm going already!!!

Thanks. :D

septembersgoal 06-14-2005 07:59 PM

Sandra, you could lift weight or do squats or something instead of walking, if your tootsies are hurting you.

Katpo 06-14-2005 08:02 PM

Tell Murphy he'll have to watch TV without you for a while. You can snuggle later!

I have a feeling you'll never make this request again!!!

septembersgoal 06-14-2005 08:42 PM

 Murphy refused to watch tv without me, layed behind the gazelle and I bonked him in the head. Maybe he will have learned his lesson.
I did it!!! And no, I appreciate the hounding. I asked for it, right? :D I really do appreciate it. I kept thinking that I would wait until that dancing show was on and do it then. But by then I probably would have been too tired. So THANK YOU!!

fatgottago, lady dreamer, and Vickie...how are you doing?

Vickie 06-15-2005 08:42 AM

I did 33 minutes on the treadmill, 30 of which were at 2.9 mph. Thank God for the Gilmore girls!

septembersgoal 06-16-2005 04:21 PM

OK ladies, where are we ate? The challenge thread is waaaaaaaaaay at the bottom of the page!
I have been a slacker, I must admit. Only exercised 1x so far this week. I do plan on accomplishing my goal though. I have always been a procrastinator!!
I think I am eating way too many wpas! I thought that I was doing good...yesterday I only ate one but today 10 are on my plate! And the day before w/i too. Bad, bad girl. :sorry: I need to get more creative with my core menu I think. Especially with breakfast. But I am learning! And I am losing weight, feeling better, eating better...gotta keep it in perspective.
As for now...I want to go home!!!!

Katpo 06-16-2005 04:23 PM

I edited my original post with Monday and Tuesday nights -- didn't do anything last night, but I will Gazelle tonight and post it.

Vickie 06-16-2005 04:24 PM

I did 33 minutes on the treadmill on the 14th and 15th, 30 of which were at 2.9 MPH. Nothing today because I let myself off hook because of MRI. I will exercise 6 days this week.

Vickie 06-16-2005 04:26 PM

Melissa, what are you eating for breakfast? Do you not like hot cereal or eggs or eggbeaters? I think I have an old South Beach recipe somewhere for ff ricotta pancakes with sweet cottage cheese filling. I used to make about 6 of them and reheat three the next morning for breakfast. Would these work for you?

septembersgoal 06-16-2005 04:41 PM

Vickie, I usually eat some bland cold cereal or use wpas. If I ate at home I would probably eat eggs and turkey bacon (I still don't know if this is core) or something like that. But we all bring bfast to work and eat it here together. Maybe I should just start eating at home and having a fruit snack at work or something. I like oatmeal but am used to the instant kind. When I was doing flex I would bring a packet to work and eat it. But now I don't know. Do you make a big batch and then reheat it? I don't know why I thought that, but I've wondered if it would work. I would appreciate any suggestions. But I am kind of picky too. I can't have a lot of rich foods or citrusy fruits in the mornings, makes me sick. Thanks, you're so sweet!

Vickie 06-16-2005 04:48 PM

Even when I was working I used to bring my oatmeal to work and cook it in the microwave. I still cook it in the microwave at home (why dirty a pan?). You just need a big serving bowl because otherwise it will cook up over the edge. I use 1/2 cup of oatmeal, 3/4 FF milk, dash of salt and cook for 3 minutes on high. Then I add a cut up banana (to make it be a banana muffin!) and cook about another minute to make the banana mushy. Or...I stir in a 1/2 cup of homemade chunky applesauce and warm it up for a minute (to make it apple cinnamon spice cake!). I measure out the oatmeal, salt and cinnamon (I forgot to mention the cinnamon) ahead of time into small ziploc bowls. I usually do it ahead of time so I only have to measure everthing out once a week. You could do this for work as well. Then I measure the FF milk into this little bowl so I wouldn't have to dirty a measuring cup every day. I sound lazy, don't I!!!!

The ricotta blintzes were good too. I'd just make a 3 day batch and carry them to work in my bag and warm them in the microwave. They were great. I had an hour commute and I never made myself sick either. Believe me....the blintzes sound richer than they are!
