Kathy, a girl after my own heart. I could eat leftover meat every day for breakfast, if I let myself!

Breakfast: Oatmeal made with skim and 1/2 cup homemade applesauce cooked in

Lunch: Mixed field greens salad with grilled chicken, with hard boiled egg, avocado, cucumber, red cabbage, tomatoes, and red onion. FF Honey Dijon for dressing.

Snack: Hooked on my Chocolate Cherry smoothie made with Swiss Miss and Frozen black cherries and skim

Dinner: Mixed greens salad with balsamic vinagrette, Salmon steak, ww pasta with Smart balance (points), and fresh green beans. Great restaurant meal. The Chef says he always knows when I'm there because the order comes in for a side of ww pasta dry, microwave please! I like my pasta really really hot. When you all come for a visit I'll take you there for a great Core meal! Oh Yeah, they also serve unlimited amounts of fresh hot garlic bread for free. It's hard for me to pass on that but I do. Jim still eats it.......

Snack: SF/FF pudding or tea and a Natural Ovens cookie (points)

Ah, Vickie! And your lunch reminded me that I was going to make a salad for dinner, so I think I'll go boil an egg now for it. DH hates eggs and the smell of them, so I have to cook them when he's gone. Whatever!!

I am again embarrassed to post my menu, but will for accountability's sake.

b: cereal w/ ff milk
l: refried beans, lettuce, ff cheese, salsa, piece of italian bread (1pt)
piece of angel food cake w/ strawberries (probably about 2 pts)
s: piece of italian bread
radishes w/ ff ranch and a cookie!!
d: soup (pinto) beans, potatoes, piece ww bread (1pt)

we are going to a coffeehouse tonight where dh is playing/singing. I never know what to get as I don't like cappucino w/out flavoring and I just always want hot chocolate. Maybe I could just get some tea?

Melissa, green tea is very "in" right now and is supposed to boost your metabolism. Any tea would probably be a good choice.

What's up? Seems like you have some major carb cravings happening!

Vickie, you're right!! I have been craving carbs and sugars like crazy. Since I had that "stomach virus" its all that I have wanted to eat. Since then most foods just make me feel sick. I haven't wanted to eat anything good for me. And work doesn't help, as I am surrounded by non-Core food all day long (I actually have to help prepare the food for our clients, and then not eat it). I've actually been wondering if I might be pregnant instead of having had a stomach virus. But I don't think so.

I did get tea tonight though. That's at least one positive thing.

Melissa, right after I had that stomach virus thing, it took me a LONG time to get back on the wagon too. I really craved bread, rice, anything that had carbs and refined sugar. Healthy food just made me feel icky. I'd say take it slow, and work back to Core.

Then again, if you're pregnant, you'd better start eating healthy sooner rather than later, because those cravings and wanting to eat the whole house only gets worse!
