Default Tuesday Menu, April 19, 2005

I've got 7 pre-schoolers coming to my house today for Joy School (parent-run preschool). Whee!! We're talking about imagination and creative play, so it should be fun. I'm hoping it doesn't rain (it's threatening to) because I have a buried treasure hunt planned.

Anyway...

b: co co wheats, applesauce, milk
l: pasta salad with white beans, milk
s: apple
d: broiled sesame salmon, hash browns, milk

Angela, good luck to ya! You sound like a fun Preschool teacher. Where the heck do you get all the energy?

Breakfast: Oatmeal made with skim and one banana cooked in

Lunch: Sirolin burger with FF Borden Cheese slice and fresh fruit salad

Snack: Cottage cheese and peaches or Peach smoothie

Dinner: No clue...haven't planned. Will have to stop at store on the way home.

Good luck, Angela! That sounds like quite a day!

As for me, it sounds like I'll be eating all day with this menu I've planned. It's only 1235 calories but quite filling.

Breakfast: maltomeal, banana, cup of skim milk
Snack: FF cottage cheese, pineapple
Early lunch: cup of tuna salad (no bread)
Late lunch: 1/2 cup of black beans, leftover grilled shrimp (about 5 small), mushrooms, onions -- about 1/2 cup total
Snack: WW carrot cake
Dinner: grilled chicken, broccoli, small corn on the cob, milk

I've already had a 20 oz bottle of water and 1/2 cup of rootbeer on the way to work, and have now filled up my big ol' 64 oz. bottle to start on.

Day 5 of no beer, day 4 of no coke.

S: Orange
D: Mexican polenta bake, gazpacho soup
