    l: split pea soup, milk
    d: ?? was planning on crockpot chili, but dh is sick, so maybe something less harsh
    s: popcorn

  • Breakfast: Oatmeal made with skim and 1/2 cup homemade applesauce

    Lunch: Turkey, Mashed potatoes (some points), asparagus, salad

    Snack: Chocolate banana smoothie

    Dinner: Eggbeater omelet, FF Borden Single, ketchup

    Snack: Banana Cream SF/FF pudding
  • Ugh! What a morning -- I forgot my breakfast AND lunch, so I'm at the mercy of whatever is in my cabinet and leftover from yesterday. So (excuses, excuses) I got a coke on the way to work. I thought it would at least be fewer fat/calories than stopping for fast food.

    I have some tuna salad and string cheese here, and some olives and pickles. I guess I can make a breakfast/lunch from that.
  • Well, I was going to do the fast for a day, but it's lunch time and I'm hungry.

  • Tuesday:

    Breakfast: 1/2 c lf cottage cheese w/pineapple mixed in, decaf w/light cream

    Lunch: 1 bowl beef/barley veggie soup, 2 hb eggs, 1 pear

    Snack: fresh strawberries, green tea (altho leaving work at 3 pm for appt so not sure if and when I am having this?)

    Dinner: have some defrosted chicken thighs in fridge - would LOVE to make the smothered barley thing if I get home early enuf to get this done - and depending on how my leg feels.

    Tried to convince dh that he should at least take me out for dinner - this being International Women's day and all!

  • DH and I decided to play hooky from work this afternoon -- he went to the gym, I came home and watered all the plants (I have about 20 inside houseplants and usually do it on Saturday), we took down the Christmas tree and are now watching Judge Judy.

    So ... digging thru the freezer looking for something to eat, I came across a package of Atlantic Salmon with shrimp florentine stuffing. Sounds interesting, so that's what we're having tonight. I'll make a salad and corn too.
  • I had good intentions on my menu today, but here's what I really ate.

    1 raspberry muffin (small)
    1 piece bread and butter
    1 popsicle

    You know how my kids were sick and throwing up? Well, guess who caught it?? I just can't get a break...
