OT: Move to Dallas, screw up your job, and get a paid vacation
Sheesh ... this really irritates me!!!
DALLAS -- A Dallas school bus driver has been placed on paid leave for allegedly forcing a five-year-old girl off her bus more than a mile from her scheduled stop.
Jadian Anderson says the driver ordered her daughter off the bus after she complained that another student was hitting her.
The girl had to walk about a half mile alone before a crossing guard saw her and noticed she was crying. While the guard was trying to figure out where she lived, a relative drove by, saw the girl and picked her up.
Dallas County Schools spokeswoman Deanne Hullender says that if the driver acted inappropriately, officials will "take the proper action." Dallas County Schools operates buses for some area districts, including Dallas, where the girl attends school.
The driver, whose identity hasn't been released, also works for the Dallas Independent School District as a hall monitor. The district also has placed him on paid leave.

PAID LEAVE??? I know the driver should be considered innocent until charges are proven, but there's no disputing that he put this little 5-year-old girl off the bus more than a mile away from her bus stop.
