I'm starving - have to go eat!

Breakfast:
eggs/back bacon & veggies (onion/mushroom/peppers)
tea w/splenda & milk

Lunch:?? Not sure - maybe soup.
Actually today is "soup making day"...have some beef shank bones, and cabbage and tomatoes and barley, etc....hmmmmm

Dinner:need to defrost something? Hopefully a roast chicken or beef that will maybe last for a couple days??
sweet potatoes (have a craving), brocolli

fresh pineapple w/strawberries!

Slight change of plans for my dinner ... I had some round steak thawed out so I just put it in a marinade and later on will slice it very thin, and make stir fry from it adding onion, bell pepper, broccoli and I'll also make some brown rice. For me, I'll just eat the meat and some salad, and maybe some brown rice if I want it.

Any other suggestions of what I can fix with it? It doesn't seem like a full meal for some reason! For the family, I mean ... you know, stir fry and rice and (fill-in-the-blank).

Kathy - your dinner sounds great to me? Definitely have the brown rice...and make lots of veggies w/the meat!

So do I have to amend my eating plan? I CAN'T STOP EATING - PMS HAS ARRIVED. Just made some popcorn to nibble on and have left the kitchen (even tho I'm cooking a ton of stuff down there) so I won't keep munching. What's up with this? And I"m FULL - not like I'm hungry or anything. I know once TOM arrives this insanity will end!

Vickie - I "cheat" cuz I usually get the ones the store has already pre-cored/peeled, so I can see what I'm buying! When cut I look for a deep yellow, ripe color - too pale or too dark are problems.

As for the fresh kind - I think I read somewhere that you should try and pluck a "leaf" from the top and if it comes out easily the pineapple is ripe? sorry can't be of more help!
