Default Magnificent Monday Menu, April 18, 2005

No coke on the way to work -- I had a glass of diet root beer and even altered my route so I wouldn't have to drive by Sonic and be tempted!

B: maltomeal, banana, milk
Sn: FF cottage cheese with fruit
Early L: tuna salad with 2 slices of Delightful wheat bread (1 pt for 2 slices)
Sn: WW carrot cake (1 pt)
Late L: 1/2 cup black beans
D: tomato soup, milk

Shooting for 5 bottles of water
Using 2 WPAs, which I hope to make up in part by either going to the gym or gazelling.

Katpo...I see you have a snack of WW carrot cake for 1 point-I love these and the chocolate ones too! I slice them vertically into two pieces and top then with Cool Whip free. They seem like a bigger snack and they take longer to eat this way...thought you might like to try it!

Don't be sad - be glad you're not "up north" where we have very little to enjoy! (I had a ww 2 pt cookies and cream ice cream bar yesterday and it was FANTABULOUS - so yummy - I can see how you could OD on this tho!)

Kathy - wow - changing your route to work - you really are dedicated. Good for you.

Breakfast: 1/2 c. lf pineapple/cottage cheese cup, decaf w/cream

Snack: 1 banana

Lunch: egg salad (ff mayo) and leftover salad from yesterday (tossed salad w/olive oil & balsamic vinegar dressing)
sf/ff yogurt

Snack: fresh pineapple/grapes mixture

Dinner: ?? leftover salmon or roast beef? (have a pot of brown rice in the fridge and some fresh green beans for side dishes).

Snack: maybe a decaf non fat cappucino while dd is dancing tonight?

MUST DRINK MORE WATER - becoming a slacker in this area! Bad Froufie!

b: banana and cereal w/ff milk
l: salad with ff french and ham, applesauce
s: snack bag of popcorn and a dill pickle (not together)
d: went out to chili's for grandmother's bday. had the guiltless grill chicken platter, which should be all core except for the rice and whatever butter they put on the corn. but it was better than eating my favorite thing, quesadillas.....
s: maybe some pudding??? or nothing...24 will distract me from food

had w/i this morning, down a pound this week. would love to see more, but i'm glad for that!! especially considering i had a love affair with a pizza and a certain ben and jerry this weekend.....

Kathy--way to go, changing your route to work. that is discipline!
