Question What's On The Menu For Thursday??

Another new day:

Breakfast:
ONLY 1/2 c yogurt this am (did not want my usual oatmeal? - feeling a but under the weather).
decaf w/lite cream

Lunch: (NO DINNER LEFTOVERS!! YIKES! )
but a good frouf always has something stocked away at work
Brought some leftover kasha from home (small bowl?)
and I have a carton of Campbell's gardennay soup here somewhere (Roasted red pepper and black bean?) - will check ingredients but I think it's okay?
Large fruit salad
Complete first 24 oz water.

Snack:
?? plum or the 3 mandarins that have been sitting here all week?
or popcorn
Complete 18 oz water

Dinner:
Getting nails done today after work so dinner consumption will be LATE!
Have asked dh to do some stir fried chicken (boneless/skinless breasts)...big on the veggies - low on the oil, with some brown rice on the side!
decaf w/cream

I hope that's it!!!

Hi Froufie and Kathy,

I've eaten like an out-of-control monster today so I won't share my menu. Feel free to kick me in my ample rump ... sometimes I think that's the only way I'm going to get myself on track!!

Kathy, I wanted to ask how those Gorton grilled fish fillets taste. I hate fish if it's not breaded ... can't stand a strong fishy taste. My daughter has been wanting to try some salmon and I was going to buy some of the grilled salmon fillets I've seen advertised ... any suggestions on which ones are best?

Deborah

Nahhh ... we're going to let you slide just this once!! But next time, watch out!!

I like the Gorton's pretty well, but the blackened is my favorite. Maybe something about all the spices kills the fishy taste? Next favorite is the garlic butter, and least is the lemon pepper. I'm not sure what flavors the salmon comes in -- these are the regular fish (cod?) fillets. I prefer grilling tilapia or flounder myself with a little bit of Molly McButter and parsley flakes on top, but making these is the next best thing.

Oh, I made the best dinner! In about 5 minutes, I might add...

I went to 2 stores after work looking for a rotisserie chicken and both stores were out, so I got a Tyson whole roasted chicken and heated it up. Also took the leftover broccoli from two nights ago, added cheez whiz to it, and heated up a container of Shedd's garlic mashed potatoes. It was delightful! Of course I didn't eat any of it but had to taste everything.

I'm not even hungry so I think I'll just drink more water and watch basketball.
