Hey, Mary Ann. I missed your good news since we were posting at the same time this morning. Congratulations on the terrific 3 pounds down. I hope it holds for your weigh in for you! Hope your migraine is better soon. I have them too.
Pam, I hope your DH gets good news. Prayers sent. Sloan, my pup is named Cassie Ann. I have no children so I named her middle name after my Mom. It's kind of a family joke! I'm off to the bank. We are refinancing down to 4.8. That is SO awesome to me. |
Evening Everyone
Well not much has happened since I was on here earlier. Did wash sons work clothes. Fixed supper and did dishes. And that has been about it. We can see grass. Still a little bit of snow in places. VICKIE Did you get a new puppy. SLOANIE isnt it nice to have all those puppy kisses. Espeically when you have had a bad day. They love you not matter what. What did you name your puppy. PAM920 Hope hubbys test comes out alright. Will keep you in my prayers. My hubbys cataract isnt ready yet either. They have been watching it for awhile. It is just now starting to start some foggy vision. Dr said maybe some new glasses will help. So got the prescribsion (?) for some new ones. Now to go and find some. ONTARGET Hope you had fun watching the kids shoot. Sounds like fun. BEACHBUM Hope your headache is better. HI TO EVERYONE ELSE I am going to get off here. Want to get ready and watch Grey's Antomy. Talk to you tomorrow. Night. coco |
No, Coco, she's been with us since she was a baby. She'll be 7 in June. I just call her my puppy still.
I just had my once a week dinner out. It was awesome and healthy. I'm satisfied. I'm off to watch TV and have my dessert later. Hope you are all well. It is still frigid here. It can start our weekend warmup any time now. |
Oh boy! I bet I've gained 5 pounds over the last few days! I'm not going near the scales. I went to a luncheon yesterday, a birthday dinner last night, and an awards dinner tonight. In every case I ate good food, but every single morsel of it. I would have licked the plates had I not been in genteel company!
The celebrations are over for a while so I'd better get to the :exercise: or I'm gonna pay big time. I've read all the posts, but am too stuffed to write individual notes  Have a great night everyone! Rhonda ps: Where the heck are Tech/Donna and Sammi?! :dunno: |
Good Morning Ladies:)
Oh!! do I feel 100% better now that the migraine is gone.I had them several times during menopause, but since than I haven't experienced thaving the. I giuess it was a fluke of some kind. I'm really ecstatic about my weight loss of 3 lbs. I owe it to the extra exercising that I doing every day either on the treadmill or stationary bike, that brought the figures on the scale down. I think I going to stay on the the 25-27 point range, which is the 1500-1620 on the 60 cals a point theory. COCO-Thanks I would appreciate if I could know from a leader about the point value than from a web site.Sorry about you head aches do you get migraines also??? They are so painful and annoying. Thanks for the congrats, hopefully I will be on a roll and lose this poundage shortly .My headache is better,Don't have to wear my sun glasses in the house anymore. VICKIE-We 're in the single digits also. Can wait until it warms up a little as we have been house bound since Tuesday.Happy to hear the JC is working for you, with the few changes and that's a plus to have a counselor to report to.Exercising helps also, 4 days a week is excellent. Quote:
Thanks for the congrats on my loss and your well wishes. PAM-Thanks for you congrats,it was a surprise to me to see the loss that even If was feeling well I had to report my loss. Good for you that your stayed the same & didn't see a gain. Hope you DH gets good results on the stress test. SLOANE-Thanks for congrats also, and I agree with Vickie & you I should have seen what I was doing with multiple plans,I guess I was just so frustrated with all the gaining,I didn't see it at the time. Seems like you're extremely happy with the puppy, and I know she'll give the love back. RHONDA-Sending your :dust: to get though these times.Don't know where those two gals are.Hope they come back soon. Have to go to the market and get some staples like milk & veggies, like to munch on green snap peas while watching the TV. |
Good Morning Chicks!
Rhonda, you make me laugh! Sometimes you just have to splurge. My problem always is that I don't stop. I hope you had fun and I'm really glad that you let yourself enjoy it. I think that's important! I'm worried about Angela too. She hasn't been here in forever.....and I saved the link from her ice cream shop and it's closed. Argghhhh.....this economy is killing everyone. I'm off to my day. Have a great one! |
Wow Mary Ann. We did it again! That's two morning in a row that we posted at EXACTLY the same time. Glad you're feeling better. My migraines have increased during menopause. Weird. I think they're part of my smokey smell problem too.
Talk to you all later. |
Good morning. I can't believe I didn't get here yesterday. Guess I had a senior moment or something. We are seeing dirt here and are feeling it, too. it's windy today (40 mph gusts) and I feel dirty just from walking outside a few minutes. Oh, well, days like today make us appreciate the calmer days more.
I lost this week. Life is good. Vickie, I am so happy for you. Sounds like JC may be just what you were looking for. The adjustments you made should really help. You're wise not to overdo it with the exercise. My motto is "Just keep moving." And that's what I try to do. Rhonda, you're a hoot. I'm not worried about you. You'll do all right now that the celebrations are behind you. (Or should I say "on your behind"?) Sorry, I couldn't help but tease you, Cuz. Seriously, you'll be all right. I am always proud of the way you can get back op quickly. I seem to get stalled somewhere and keep digging my hole deeper. Coco, I hope your dh's eyes don't get worse. Bless his heart. Seems he has one problem after another, doesn't it? I hope he's not depressed and is in good spirits. Pam, we're coming to KY next month to Louisville for the NFAA National Indoor Archery Championship. Beautiful area! Maryann, congratulations on losing those 3 lbs. I'll bet you're smiling ear to ear. |
Great going, Sandra! I hope to have a bigger loss too this week. I've got to go eat and walk on the treadmill. That will be 3 days this week already.

Hi Everyone
The sun is shining. And it is in the 30's. Suppose to be even nicer over the weekend. Then we are to get some rain next week. Oh before I forget. I may not be able to get on here tomorrow. They are going to do some upgrades with the internet service we have. ONTARGET CONGRATS ON THE LOSS. Hope the wind dies down soon. VICKIE How are you doing. Are you getting any better weather yet. Hope so. TEJAS Hope you enjoyed all your dinners. Wonder why they always fall at the same time. Couldnt be spread out. BEACHBUM Hope you had a good day out. And hope it warms up for you too. Well I am going to get off here for now. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Thinking of each of you. coco |
I'm good, Coco! The warmup has started. We're above freezing.
|
Hi everyone. Where in the world did the week go? I can't believe its Friday already. Thankfully its going to warm up this weekend!! WOOHOO. I hope that the snow melts enough to start seeing some ground. Its been too too long to have snow cover. This has not been anything near a normal winter for us.
Foodwise, I'm doing really well and feeling good. I think my additional exercises are helping how I'm feeling. I'm not as achy in the am - sometimes I feel well beyond my 43 years. Vickie -- I am glad you doing well on Jenny. You seem very motivated! Maryann - WOO HOO congrats on the loss. Great job. Rhonda - as long as you enjoyed your splurge, its over and move on! Hi to Coco, Sloan, Pam, Sandra and anyone I may have missed! I'll BBL |
Vickie, good for you with the :tread:. We're heading to the club in a little bit. I will prob :ebike: and watch HGTV at the same time. Life is good.
Coco, come back when you can. I hope you don't go into withdrawal tomorrow what with not being able to get online. Paula, good for you for not feeling achy. I feel better when I exercise, too. |
Hi Ladies:)
I went to one of my other WW boards and I found a woman posting this about water. Quote:
Its something to think about. How many ounces of water do you drink. I'm up to 80 oz Leo thinks I drinking too much and suggest to go down to the 64 oz per day. What are your thoughts.????Do you think hes right???? Thanks ladies for the congrats I was beaming and I couldn't believe the scale. Hope it stays that way for Monday's official W-I. |
Mary Ann, I drink 64 ounces a day but I do NOT like water and that was a big accomplishment for me. If I could drink more, I would. When you eat high fiber you NEED water to avoid constipation and to flush out the fat and fiber. I wouldn't cut back if I were you. I also drink 24 ounces of decaf black coffee, 12 ounces of decaf diet pepsi, and 12 ounces of decaf tea. That's a total of 112 ounces a day. If I drink less good things do NOT happen, if you know what I mean!
Thanks, Paula! I am motivated. Now it just needs to keep up. I'm enjoying being lazy about cooking. All I have to cook every couple of days is my homemade applesauce because I'm an applesauce snob and fresh steamed veggies every night. If we ate canned or frozen veggies it would be even easier. We're trying to cut back on the sodium. Hi I'm Vickie....I'm a salt addict! Sandra, I watched HGTV while on the treadmill but I listened and sang to my Wicked Soundtrack at the top of my lungs. The dog left and Jim was shopping so it was ok. Suffice it to say that I do NOT have a good voice. Time for lunch. I just did 21 minutes for .58 miles. Small but better than nothing. Gotta keep the ankles and knees out of pain. |
