I stopped for lunch at a favorite place today and got the navy bean soup.
I am wondering if it was core or not. It had tiny pieces of ham in it and I had a few crackers with it (I know they are not)
I love this soup ,so I am hoping it is core.

I went to ww tonight and lost another 1.8 lbs. I was so worried that I was not going to lose, and couldn't figure out why. Well, I realized today that it's my tom and that's the reason I didn't show a loss earlier this week. But I ended up losing almost 2 lbs so I am happy.

Last night I was hungry for something and discovered if you dip strawberried into ff sf chocolate pudding, they kind of taste like chocolate covered strawberries. They were yummy!

Well, I'm off to take a bike ride so I'll catch up with you all later!

For the soup, if there wasn't any pasta in it, its probably OK as core. Generally any non creamy soup made with core ingredents are core. I know Progresso lentil is core as are other bean based soups. If it was thick it was probably from the beans.

Tracie -- congrats on the loss!!! Keep it up. For a snack, I've taken plain yogurt, mixed in some ff/sf pudding powder (sort of make the pudding out of that) then top with berries or banana. Very yummy! I like the tang the yogurt gives it.

That is too good to be true. Strawberries with chocolate. Sometimes this diet
seems too good to be true. I keep worrying I won't lose because I am eating alot and not hungry. I lost 2 pounds on week 1 and if I lose this week I will be very happy. I have eaten core except for a graduation reception where I had spinach dip and a few other things but no cake .

You gals are making me hungry! I am trying the ff puddings in yogurt (Wegman's brand $2.50 for 32oz -- love that store), and my current favorite is choc fudge and vanilla, with extra skim milk to make it smoother.

Yes, I love this "diet" too. LOL!

Core is the way to go! I am not hungry at all either, and if I am, there is always something I can eat that sounds good. I believe this is what I was waiting for to make a lifestyle change. Granted, I am still going to eat my chinese crab rangoons once in awhile ( I love them!) and some other fattening things that I love, but they will be a special treat, not something that I eat all the time.
I absolutely loved the carrot cake recipe, but I'm going to try and bake it in the oven, rather than the crockpot. The sides seemed to get slightly burned before the center of the cake got done. I think if I bake it in the oven, this will not happen. But it was still really good.

I'll have to try the carrot cake recipe. I printed it a while ago, but never made it. I did make a tamalie pie this weekend that came out really good. Browned up ground turkey with onion and garlic, seasoned with chili powder and cumin. Then mixed 1 1/2 cups corn meal, 1tsp salt, 1 cup milk, 2 eggs, can of rotel tomatoes, small can of corn, small can of green chilis, small can of olives (all drained, but not the tomatos) and ff cheddar cheese. Put the meat in the bottom of a pan, topped with the cornmeal mixture. Baked 400 for 40 minutes. Very yummy - eat it topped with salsa and ff sour cream. (I'll post this on the recipe boards as well).

I had found a receipe on allreceipes.com that I made core by making a few adjustments. Next time I'll make it a bit more spicy.

I decided to skip wi today (I know, I know,...) but I'm up a bit due to the wedding and having a gain written down will bring me down. So, I'll work really hard this week and definatly go next week. DD will be happy not having to be dragged with me anyway!

She is actually still in bed - need to go see what is going on. 9 am is Gynmnastics, so she's got to get moving. Then her friend is coming here this week. I have a bag full of spring bulbs to get in the ground today. The weather is supposed to be beautiful here - sunny and in the 70s.

Well, off to start my day. BBL

Good Morning Chicks! I'm doing.....ok. Today is my last estimate from Painters and I should be able to schedule that and stop procrastinating about exercise. Honey Lamb's sugar numbers are up as well. We are both back on the treadmill....again....tomorrow and then I need to start cooking again. It's possible to eat Core at restaurants if you are strong and assertive but it's not easy. And, sometimes I fail.

Have a great day.
