Cool Core - Protein powder?

Hello, does anyone know if we are allowed Soy or Whey protein powder? I couldn't find it in the "Complete Food Companion". Thanks!

Protein powders aren't Core. There isn't anything you're not allowed to eat - you just have to use your WPAs or APs for things that aren't Core.

So, how many points would you estimate for a protein shake? - I have a friend who looks fantastic, she weight-lifts, and she swears by these protein shake things.

The nutritional info is on the packaging. Just the powder will be at least 2 points, then whatever you mix in. They can get pretty point costly.

I tried them this week- just the scoop mixed with water = 170 cal. I used my WPAs for the scoops..... I am down by 10 lbs! and really pleased with the results so far. If I can manage to keep my WPA's within an acceptable limit, I can use them for scoops!

35 Weekly Points Allowance = WPA

Activity Points = AP for your exercise.
