Question about Quinoa?
Good morning fellow heath enthusiasts, I have recently been trying "Quinoa", and really find it a very pleasing addition to my core eating. 2 questions though-
1- It is actually a seed from an herb, but yet we are free to eat it as a ww grain. Can we eat it at more than one meal a day, or do we have to treat it like brown rice (once a day)? It is listed in my book as a "free" grain, not like brown rice.
2- Since it has more protein than chicken, has anyone ever tried to replace it in recipes as a meat substitute? Like in a soup/chili?
