Hi There,
Brown rice is hard to come by here in the Middle East. My husband brought "red rice" home. I've never seen it ever before. Does anyone know if it's core or not? It looks like Brown Rice, but it's more red. Also, does anyone know if Wild Rice is OK?

Hi Noussa and Welcome! We haven't met yet on the chat thread. I've been crazy busy the last couple of days. Wild rice is definitely Core but I'm not sure about red rice. I'm SO mad that I haven't been able to get my new Daily Food Companion and I was silly enough to through my old one out.

Maybe someone with an old book or online membership can look it up for you.

Red rice is whole grain, like brown rice, but the hull is reddish in color instead of brown. It would be core

I just like rice I buy red rice sometimes, but love black forbidden rice by lotus foods. It's also whole and core
