Default New to CORE but not WW...Hey everyone!

Hi everyone,

My name is Luma and I'm from Southwest Florida. I have been on WW since this summer and I've had a great success so far. I was on the flex plan but I've switched to Core as of today.

I switched because I was recently diagnosed with Endometriosis and am looking to cut out all estrogen from my diet with advice from my Doctor. Meaning, it's simply easier to choose foods from the Core list and eat that way than counting points. I am also having to go Wheat free and Dairy free.

Here's my first question. When do you all usually eat your daily grains? At breakfast? At supper? I'm just curious as to how each individual does this. I had oatmeal for breakfast since I started WW, but I love to have a grain side on my dinner plate.

Also, has anyone seen fat free soy milk in their supermarkets? I found a light one that's 1 flex point per serving...I'm still drinking it and counting it against my 35 points, but I'd like to find a FF alternative and I just don't think I've ever SEEN FF alternative milk.

Nice to meet everyone!!

I have found sugar free Almond Breeze.......its not a dairy product though if your looking for dairy. THere is only 50 calories in a cup and its sooooo good. I add it to chai tea or hot choc...nice and almondy tasting. Make sure its the sugar free one...and no its not soy sorry but just another idea

Luma. It's good to have you joining us. I usually eat cereal or oatmeal for bfast. I eat pasta or potatoes at either of the other 2 meals. Just depends on what's going on at the time.

Almond Breeze is delicious.... it is the plain unflavored kind (as opposed to say, Vanilla) that has no added sugar. But it is great, much better than soy milk for me...I eat on whole wheat flakes....
