We're having gorgeous weather. I stayed outside for awhile and am revved up to do some more planting and flowerbed edging. I may have to run to Home Depot in a couple of days or so.
I hope everyone had a great day today. I ate like a little piggy at the trough. But, I also got out the exercise DVD's and exercised for 30 minutes. This is the start of 1/2 hour of aerobics 3 x a week or else! My present to myself.
I changed my ticker also...I'm going to try to lose 13 more pounds by Valentine's Day.

Hi everybody. We had a nice Christmas yesterday. The girls really ended up loving the things we got them. I think some of their favorites are the ones I spent the least money on. Ha ha.
My mom put some WW candies in my stocking instead of the usual candy/cookies. for support!
The only bad thing is that my middle daughter managed to pull a cap off her tooth eating sticky candy yesterday. Whoops! (She has some major crowding issues with her teeth, and has 2 capped because they were trimmed to make room for permanant molars coming in underneath them - she actually has no cavities). Anyway, luckily the dentist can fit her in today and get that glued back on. It doesn't seem to be bothering her.
Happy Boxing Day. Ha, so those south of the 49th parallel are wondering what that is! It's the day after Christmas, and Canada goes shopping. Except for me: I'm staying home. Boxing Day is a British tradition, with unclear origins. I've heard that it was a day when the servants received boxes of goodies, and that it was the day when things were returned to stores. Nevermind its origins, it's sale day in the stores.
Here, in my little abode, it is clean the house day. Maybe I'll box some things up for recycle and give away.
I'm going to do 30 minutes of exercise and get to work.

Good morning, dear friends. It's a beautiful day even though it's cold and drizzling. I am in such wonderful spirits. My best friend's daughter (I feel like I helped raise her.) is here from Arizona so we're heading over to visit this afternoon.
Curtis and I enjoyed yesterday. It was peaceful and laidback. The weather was awesome and I got to get out in the yard for a bit. Lots of bulbs starting to pop out of the ground. (Did I word that right? The bulbs aren't popping but little green stems are.)
Vickie, enjoy the festivities. You know what to do when they're over. This is a life process with lots of living involved.
Rhonda, I dug out my WATP tapes yesterday as well as my "Sweating to the Oldies." I'm going to see if my feet will hold up to doing some exercise in the shoes I have. If not, I'm heading to the store.
Ann, you and I could be dangerous together, couldn't we? Last night Curtis and I finished off the last tidbit. Now we don't have to worry about them any more. Life goes on.
Angela, what a thoughtful mom you have there. And dd? I'm glad she's getting to the dentist today. That's a bummer having the cap come off. Been there done that.

after a very full month Im relaxing today..I may not even get out of my jammies today...... we are off to the city tomorrow for my dh has a denturist appt so the girls and I are hitting the stores. Last year we did this and I was able to get my cards etc for the following year..I want to do the same thing this year. It was soo handy.
I managed to get a walk in christmas eve day..it was nice and sunny out but the weather has been awful since..Im going to have to get my dvd out as well Sandra.
Eating hasnt been the greatest..peeked on the scale this am and didnt like what I saw..back at it today!

It's my 6 year old Great Niece kissing the top of her Sister's head (my godchild) who was 8 months old at the time. Kind of hard to tell that small isn't it?!
