Default Menu for Wednesday, 6/13/07

I'm ready to go, so might as well commit to it!

Breakfast: oatmeal with Splenda, skim milk
Lunch: rotisserie chicken and BBQ sauce, small baked sweet potato
Dinner: still deciding but it looks like it'll be baked fish and LO brown rice with stirfried vegetables, and probably a salad for me

No snacks and still shooting for 4 bottles of water

Kathy, I just realized you aren't much of a fruit girl. I'd rather eat fruit than veggies.

Breakfast: One serving of shredded wheat and bran, 30 fresh blueberries, skim, equal

Lunch: Lean Cuisine spa meal (2 points for the sauce)

Snack: Cherries

Dinner: LO Chicken Cacciatore over ww rotini, double serving of fresh green beans

Snack: ? Something with skim milk

Patti, aren't I nuts?! I do count them. It's my way of measuring to be sure I get enough but not too many. 30 is just right. I like a blueberry in almost every spoonful!

I'm not big on sweets, except for sweet potatoes, LOL! I don't put brown sugar or cinnamon or stuff like that on them though. Bananas have to be extremely yellow with not even one dot on them or I won't eat it. They get too sweet otherwise. I like all sorts of other fruit though, like berries and melon and apples, but I don't eat them very often. I make a bowl for Judd every day to have with his lunch but I'd just rather not eat it myself. Plus, I've quit having snacks ... and if I do need a snack, I go for 0 pt carrots and celery instead of 1 pt fruit. It's flawed logic, but I equate sweet with calories even if it's for fruit, so I try to stay away.

What a long explanation just to say "I like fruit, but don't eat it much anymore."
