Default Getting Moving - Being Acountable

I've decided the big thing I need to do is get back on the exercise track. With winter cold and grey skies, it's hard but I really need it to both lose weight and feel better. So I've decided to keep myself accountable to post my goals and achievements here.

If anyone would like to join me feel free.

Exercise is key...I'm living proof. I'm eating well/right/on program and not exercising. I've gained a bit and maintained.

well, ya'll knew i'd get here. i desperately need the accountability. i won't count archery training (even though i trained for over 5 hours today and will most days for the next week or so.)

monday-- 30 min exercise bike
tuesday--60 min water aerobics (i'll go to the 7 o'clock class.)
wednesday--60 min water aerobics (i'll go to the 10 am class)
thursday--60 min water aerobics (i'll go to the 4:30 pm class.)
friday--i'll go to weight watchers. (oops! that's not exercise but it's something i need to do.)
friday--i'll do 30 minutes on the exercise bike.
saturday--i'll do 60 min water aerobics at the 9 am class.
sunday--rest and probably 30 min exercise bike

I think the training should also count as 'exercise'? Why don't you list that instead?

And yes it seems today is an EXERCISE day for me!!! Will have to be diligent and get into those workout clothes and make it happen!

Sandra - I agree with Frouf 5 hours of training is exercise, it should count.

Well, temps are supposed to be near 40 today, so I think I'll walk outside with the dogs. They'll like that it's been so cold I haven't walked them in a couple of weeks, and the younger one's getting antsy. The old fart wants to know when we're moving to FL

I am the weird one who can lose by reducing my portions and not exercising at all but ... it's a nice day here so I think some of the girls at work and I are going to walk around the parking lot this afternoon. That should give me at least 20 minutes.

I've lost 10 since the first of the year and haven't done one minute of exercise.

Kathy - lucky you. My leader says that that's the number 2 way most people lose weight. Number one being eating right and exercise. And just exercising is way down on the list. But I find if I don't exercise I don't loose.

My walk last night was slower and shorter than I would of liked but at least I did something. I may have to do something Sunday to make up.
