  • Hi! Chiming in. I think all of these things deal with the extremes.
WW is aiming for the average dieter and trying to build a program that everyone can adapt to their needs and still lose weight.
In my WW group we had a woman who had successfully lost a wonderful amount of weight, was OP and on maintenance for a long time and all of a sudden started gaining weight. What she was doing was on top of her points for the day, she was eating the industrial strength sized bag of frozen vegetables every night. On top of that, she was choosing frozen vegetables that included carrots, potatoes, and corn. She knew better. When the leader tried to help her, it was apparent that she was getting the calories that added up to almost 10 points extra a day. Voila! The gal knew WW didn't intend this. She knew there were points in that brand of veggies that had to be counted, but for whatever reason she wanted to ignore that. She is back on track now.
I am personally thrilled to hear from so many of you that started where I did and have done so well following WW with free veggies. It's inspiring to me and thanks for sharing. As far as activity points, what does the 800-telephone line say?
    Good luck to us all!
