We don't have kids yet, so here lately we've been some big party animals! I would have to say that's a BIG downfall of mine! I'm not an alcoholic by any means, but I do love to go out and have fun on the weekends. If I see that it's making a difference in my weight though, I will definatly nip it in the bud! It's not worth it for me either....but it sure is fun!
I just needed to quote you so I could say that you look fantastic!! Good for you for losing the weight!!!! I seem to have a similar situation, I had around 40 lbs to lose and it is still a significant weight loss. Anyways, I love my beer and I have NOT given it up, and I have still lost 22 lbs so far. I don't know about everyone else, but this being the first time that I have actually lost weight. I wish I could pinpoint the exact criteria except my goal weight was meant to be reached in April. I knew almost after 2 months that it wasn't going to happen, but I had lost some weight, and I didn't want to give up. So I set smaller goals. I have also developed my own diet/life maintance plan where I low carb for a few weeks, then cheat for 1 (with a few spoonfuls of the worst things possible and then wheat bread only) This has made me stay at the same weight that I had reached, and then when I back off the carbs again, I lose 3-6 lbs real easily. Then I repeat. This really works for me and I still can have my weakness, miller lite!!! Honestly though, I fit better into my clothes, but I have yet to tighten my stomach, so strength training is my enemy. I need to prioritize a six pack between my fun and my abs, lol.
