Shelley - We have the "Time for Success" program currently. We don't have Core or Flex programs as far as I am aware. On the Time for Success program you're allocated a certain amount of points per day according to your weight, at 110kg I'm currently on 24 pts a day. The more weight you lose, the less points you have. You can "bank" up to 4 points a day from your 24pts, but they do not carry over into the next week, if you don't use them, they expire. You also earn bonus points for exercise, which you can cash in for extra food that week, they expire at the end of the week too.
The "sugar" and "alcohol" points from what I've gleaned from the Aussie WW forum are part of your normal 24pts a day (not extra) and WW recommend that you don't exceed 14pts worth of sugary food or alcohol during a week. They count a sugary food as one that has sugar in the first three ingredients, like doughnuts, cake, biscuits(cookies), chocolate, etc. 1 sugar point=1 regular point, so if you have a cookie that's worth 3 pts, that's three of your sugar points for the week GONE. Some ladies do quite well not tracking the sugar points, others don't.
'POINTS(c)' are measured using kjs and saturated fat. For example, a blueberry bagel at 1300kj with 2g of saturated fat is 5 points.
Sorry for the essay, I'm feeling verbose today
