  • Hey guys!! I am going to be jump right back in to the plan that helped me since mid-July.

Goal: Less than 175 on Halloween! (I am 188 today, 204 was my start)

    Method:
    1) No fast food--it is not worth it on any level.
    2) 64 oz water each day
    3) Exercise 4-5 X per week
    4) Aim to keep calories about 1600-1800; watch portion sizes, increase fruits and veggies, journal!

    Progress:
So far, not so good. Yesterday was not the day to restart this with vigor! But today is a new day! I will exercise tonight. I have had a bowl of cereal with milk and about 400 cal worth of pasta and sauce....About 24 oz water! Time to go fill up the cup! (pretend that it is water instead of coffee! )

  • Yesterday I did not eat all that great. I did keep portion control in mind, which helped. I had baked ziti, salad, and fruit cobbler with about 1/4 cup of ice cream for dinner. The good part is that I ate a lot of salad, about half the ziti I would have had typically, skipped the bread and butter, and I went running for 30 minutes. I went about 2 miles around a track where a freshman football team was practicing and it was dark and when they left, I left too. I am such a chicken at night...I went about 2.5 miles.

Today I have had raisin bran with milk, I am on my first glass of water, and I have brought my lunch (turkey sandwich and 2 plums) so I am not tempted to go out for lunch. I plan to run again tonight. To 170s!!! Jen
