My company had a cookout today. One of the guys nudged me to go up and get seconds. Like he could not go until someone else did. Anyway I said nope I had my limit. Oh how I wanted to go back up. I could have eaten 2 or 3 more cheeseburgers but I stayed in my seat and made it through. I had a big meal anyway so it was not like I needed more. I had cheeseburger, hotdog, one serving of chips, a serving of potato salad and then one cookie for dessert. I still had most of my calories left for today so I could eat something and not feel like I blew it. I still have 200 calories left for a snack tonight when I get home. I am so happy. I ate like normal people do.

Good job howie! A few weeks ago, my company had a barbecue, I didn't go because after reading the menu, I knew nothing was really on my plan. I knew that a lot of things would've been ok, but I didn't feel it was worth it and it wasn't anything I wanted anyway. Anyway, I'm glad you were able to eat within your plan!

It's been a long time since I was very um, banana-focused, but come to think of it, I brought one to work today as part of my mid-morning snack! Hm, I wonder if there's any significance to this.....
