Cranberry beans appear to be a mix of kidney and pintos. When they are dried, they look like streaked colors of the two, and they are about 50 percent larger than the pintos (at least the bag I have). I'll go ahead and cook them. How confusing!

Now I know them! I even grew them one year but we called them Roman beans. They are probably the same as kidney beans. Really pretty, aren't they?

WOW! Had the chilli last nite with black beans and carefully watch the other ingredients additives, and it was pretty good. I hac 2 bowls of it and still managed to loss wieght
