I've found it helps to keep a food journal. Its so easy to eat a snack here and there and forget about it. I jot down everything l eat during the day to keep on track
Hi, I’m 30 and am looking to lose probably about 35-40kgs. I am determined to lose weight but really could do with a buddy! Thing is...I haven’t ever spoken to friends and family about how my weight effects me and family tend to say the wrong things! Anyway...good luck with your weight loss!
Eat Breakfast Every Day. One habit that's common to many people who have lost weight and kept it off by eating breakfast every day. "Many people think skipping breakfast is a great way to cut calories, but they usually end up eating more throughout the day, says Elizabeth Ward, MS, RD, author of The Pocket Idiot's Guide to the New Food Pyramids. "Studies show people who eat breakfast have lower BMIs than breakfast-skippers and perform better, whether at school or in the boardroom." Try a bowl of whole-grain cereal topped with fruit and low-fat dairy for a quick and nutritious start to your day.
I was super overweight even though I've always been active, but never lost the weight.. I thought that if i worked out everyday but eat whatever I want, I would lose the weight. but WRONG!!! I started losing weight when I portioned my meal .. I started out weak at doing workouts..
But I started doing this home workout with youtube by Choe Ting
and within 6 months I lost 44lbs/20kg so yea, eat less and move more!
But goodluck! you got this, just take it slow and dont be so hard on yourself!
