  • It's a beautiful day to bike to work and back!
    My challenge today: I live in a town of around 3,000 so Thursday Night Legion Suppers
    are a big deal. The portions tend to be large... and very yummy! My goal is to skip this week, since I'm losing nicely,
    or to have the kitchen adjust my plate before it comes to the table.....wish me luck!

    I had a bad weekend right after the challenge started, so I am back to my starting weight finally! Omg. I don't think I'm going to be making my goal of 15 pounds, but I'm still going to try!

  • I am so close to getting under 200!! I feel really gross and bloated today though. I am going to try to drink extra water today, which will be a challenge for me because I am off work for the rest of the week.

  • Well no movement on the scale this week but in all honesty my fault. I drank a bit more than I normally do and have had a few beach meals (depending on the bar veggies are not an option - better than Mexico but still in the little places I prefer cooked food - montezuma's revenge and I are too well acquainted ...) We are binge watching Orange is the New Black the last few weeks and watching people in jail makes me need a drink - LOL. I also like the 'mini goal' and will start working more water into my evening. I drink a ton during the day. I will also amp up my exercising. I normally do something while watching TV. I used to do an hours worth almost daily, but that has gone by the wayside. Must get back into it.

  • Well, my resolve went by the wayside last night when I remembered that we had cheese and crackers and ICE CREAM, oh my! Back on track today and in weekend warrior mode. My hiking boots await at the lake!
    Mini goal.... my healthy snack is at 8 and nothing after!

  • Looking forward to a great and healthy weekend! Hoping to stay on track and not have a cheat day this weekend. I normally slip up on the weekends, but my goal is to avoid that this weekend and continue to see progress.

  • Well I saw a little bit of up and down this weekend, but ended down so I will take it! Still went to a BBQ and was able to at least maintain in terms of calorie consumption, so I will take that as a win! Learning that everything in moderation is key!

    I leave for vacation for 2 weeks on the 16th so I may not check in after that until I return.
