  • I got my new scale and am going with the new number (a pound higher, but prob more accurate that old cheap scale) to start off August...

    8/01/15 - 170.0
    8/02/15 - 171.4 lbs (celebrated with too much salty food)

  • I feel like a fraud. I'm still losing water weight from vacation, so seeing these huge drops makes it look weird! I'm still working on getting to where I was before vacation! 5.5 gone!

    No one loses nearly 2 pounds overnight unless they are holding a lot of water!

  • A couple days late to the party but I am here! I am buying a new scale this morning so will report my accurate weight later today. My goal is big for the month - I am hoping to drop 20 pounds. I am just restarting my weight loss so the first while should show some bigger losses (I hope!).

    I plan to weigh in every day to begin (I will probably stop the daily weigh-ins later once they begin to slow down and begin to frustrate me!). Here goes!!

  • In August I would go for 10lbs.

    Aug 1 (sat): 186.4 (after 24hr fasting)
    Aug 2 (sun): 186 - after 10.1miles that i did the day before.
    Aug 3 (mon): 185.8
  • Alright, I haven't done one of this in a month or two but it looks like my body may be ready to lose weight again. Setting the bar low. My plan is usually 5:2 (two days of fasting on 500 calories), but I'm not sure if that's what I'll be doing right now. I've been doing so much activity that I think fasting may just add unnecessary stress. I might try one fast a week plus an eating window of 8 hours the rest of the time. We'll see how things go I guess!
