Um...hello. *waves sheepishly*

  • I'm not sure if this is the right spot or not, but here goes.
I'm Jenn, and I'm here to lose weight for the umpteenth time. I'm following a doctor prescribed diet and have about 80 pounds to lose.
I did lose 80 pounds two years ago, but regained it all.

So I'm looking for perhaps a weight loss buddy? Someone to help keep me accountable.

    Help?
  • I guess not lol
  • Hi dietcherrycoke,

I'm not a 30-something - just dropping by to say hello. And to suggest that you look around at different Forums here on 3FC to find one that's active and where you feel you fit.

For age groups, try the 20's and the 40's - both of which are often active.

Try different diet groups - lots of active groups; you might even feel called to a diet plan that you hadn't thought about.

There a bunch of folks who are also just starting out. It's a little bit of a challenge to find them, but worth the effort.

    Glad you've joined us.
  • Hey!, I'm a thirty something. Losing the pounds two years ago means you can do it again, you have the know-how !
  • Aw, your subject title looks like something I would have written!

I know how you feel! Last year I started out at 233 and managed to lose it all the way to 165, but then some stressful things happened, I went into binge mode and over time, got back up into the 220's.

Now I'm back on the journey to meet and exceed my previous record. I'll stay in touch with you as your weight loss buddy, if you're still interested!
  • I'll be your weightloss buddy, I just turned 30 on Oct. 20th, Anyway if you want to be weight loss buddies do you want to stay on contact on here or through email? Either one is fine with me, By the way, I LOVE cherry diet coke too but I drink Diet cherry coke zero
