Hi everyone.another sunny day here. I went school cloths shopping with my dd and grdd. she is such a fun kid and def has her own idea of her style, I tootled around and checked out the home dept and the craft dept, and sniffed candles
and didn't spend a penny. Cajun, days start to get more lite starting in april, its now going the other way. in winter we have maybe 6 hrs of daylight. and yes I have watched the northern lights right from my deck. we always have snow by haloween till may. summer is short but beautiful. Ive seen a few yellow leaves on my way home today
we have moose stroll thru our yard and once in a great while a bear. I can hear coyotes yipping and of course we have owls and eagles. In fact our dog pen is covered with a large chunk of gill fishing net so my little dogs can run in and out the doggy door and I don't have to worry that an eagle or owl will swoop down and get them( it happened to our neighbors). I can see mountains from my kitchen window, and we are only a few miles from the inlet (ocean) my dh hunts moose every yr,and we also put up salmon. he used to hunt caribou when he had his airplane but doesn't fly anymore, we have a remote cabin with 80 acres where its his favorite place to be,its quite a trip to get there, usually 14 miles down the beach when the tides out and then up the bluff and 3 miles inland, thru swamps and across a river. he uses a 6 wheelerto get there. If I had one wish it would be to go with him at least once but with my handicaps its not a smart thing for me to do. hope ive answered some of your questions,my favorite show about Alaska's is Life below Zero. I do love where we live. Oh we have a log home built by my dh,including felling the trees. Its typical Alaskan home, a work in progress and probably will never be finished
thinking about you Karen and sending
and you too Bobbie and praying your grson listens and sees the light . well here its 11pm and im rambling.. ttfn
for all rosey
