Crisco Homemade Peanutbutter cookies

  • Can some one please tell me how many points for 1 (1 1/2 oz) peanut butter cookie?

    2/3 cup peanut butter
    1 egg
    1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

    Directions
    1 Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. Cream peanut butter and egg. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the canned milk. Stir until well blended.
    2 Stir in vanilla and nuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto well-greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from baking sheet immediately.



    Makes 24 servings

  • you can probably lower the points quite a bit by making a few changes to the recipe...here's what i was just thinking of, as i read over what you had posted previously.

    2 cups sifted all-purpose flour

    2/3 cup peanut spread from Trader Joes (super peanuty, with pretty low fat content)
    1/4 cup of egg beater fat free egg substitute
    1 (14 ounce) can fat free evaporated milk
    16 packets of splenda
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1/4 cup of quick oats
